So, what is it that you actually do?

I get asked this a lot, typically followed by puzzled looks when I say I am a virtual assistant. When I started out my VA journey, I honestly had NO idea what a VA was. Turns out we are whatever our clients need us to be.

But you might still be wondering what a VA actually is. Virtual assistants are skilled professionals who specialize in a wide range of tasks, allowing our clients to take things off their plates so they can focus on what matters most to them and truly drives their success!

As for me? I’m the behind-the-scenes support, the one behind the computer, the professional “get stuff done-er.” I help small business owners with administrative and marketing initiatives. Need quotes prepared and sent out? Done! Presentation that needs creating? Send it over! Documents that require formatting and branding? What’s your deadline? And spreadsheets –  don’t even get me started. I love them. I really do!

I work with clients in different industries from business coaches to non-profit organizations to electrical companies, which has given me the amazing opportunity to see how different businesses operate and thrive. Every client is unique, and every day is different which makes my work incredibly rewarding! I love that I get to be part of helping business owners achieve their goals while doing what I love most – helping others!

Why am I sharing all this?

Recently I attended an amazing event put on by some of my clients. This event – "What's Leading You" – was truly inspiring on so many levels and reminded me of how much I really do love my work. I had the opportunity to see how the work I do actually helps others firsthand. Seeing the designs I created in print was surreal. The event made me realize I want to share more about my business, which has launched this blog.
